Truveo | Localizing Success in videos search

Video clips have sprouted like seedlings all over the World Wide Web. With the quality of technology being severely affected by random uploads, many people find it hard to find a website that can best provide worthy video records. Most videos viewable online are made by unknown servers that cannot be tracked and trusted. When Truveo was launched by founders Adam Beguelin and Timothy Tuttle in 2004, a lot of people were thrilled to use a new web video search engine. In January 2006, AOL acquired Truveo and the website has always been busy ever since.
A Library of Motion Pictures
Deemed as one of the biggest and widely-used video search engines in the online world, Truveo.com has collected more than 200 million web videos, ranging from movie excerpts, recorded television shows and music videos. The web site has been compared to big-named engines like Yahoo! Video and Google Video due to its high-tech programming and graphics.
Before the second half of 2008 began, Truveo has tweaked and improved its search algorithms as it introduced 17 new worldwide portals. The video search tool has grown international and has made localized versions of the site in countries like Korea, Mexico, Turkey, China, Spain, Brazil, Hongkong, Japan and the United Kingdom. Truveo.com fixed a then emerging web glitch by co-igniting several languages based on search optimization. Usually, search words may result to dissimilar implications if used with U.K. English versus U.S. English. Analysts in Truveo were able to conciliate the setback by providing resident accounts. The decision has cleared the way for global recognition of Truveo.com. The move was critical in highlighting Truveo as a video search engine that can shift verticals for their customer’s convenience. Shaping algorithms according to the view and perception of different cultures is vital in getting the nod of the international market.
With majority of home and online viewers coming from outside the United States, the company serves a large global percentage of its traffic from viewers in other continents. Truveo currently serves an international market that continues to grow each day. Each local destination is said to feature high-definition videos depending on the regional focal point. The program allows those outside the United States to search videos played in their native tongue.

Going Commercial
Truveo claims to have a sharper hub when it comes to rallying professional content in their domain. If a search is conducted, the video clips uploaded by commercial establishments are prioritized over those that were created by users. The company also lately co-signed with mogul company CBS for video conjunction of online radio websites. As each month progresses, more features are added to the website to make searches easier for users. This allows definition in quality of uploaded clips.
In support of their global development as a company, Truveo.com is currently meeting with major regional content providers. This will help expand the brand’s network by making their videos easier to find on local websites. Kevin Conroy, Executive Vice President of AOL claims that the company is sure to make Truveo a “mass market behavior”.

I think one of the toughest things for me is becoming too caught up in reps and sets. Lets say I plan on doing 4 sets of 12 reps sometimes I make it so I have to hit those precisely when maybe 3 sets was enough and on my last set I only got 10 reps but I quickly lower the weight and bust out 2 more reps.
