MJ’s Doctor to Face Criminal Charges
Following an investigation, police officials in Los Angeles ruled that Michael Jackson’s death was caused by drug overdose. With this finding, authorities are considering file a criminal case against Conrad Murray, the King of Pop’s doctor for the past several years.
According to the official investigation, several drugs, including midazolam, ephedrine, diazepam, and lidocaine, were found to be present in the artist’s blood. With the combination of these drugs, which are mostly powerful sedatives, Jackson stopped breathing when his doctor gave the last medication, propofol, a powerful anesthetic.
In an interview with reporters, Los Angeles police said that Jackson’s case will be referred to prosecutors for possible criminal lawsuits against his Murray.
Murray, who was with Jackson the day he died in June 25, was being investigated for manslaughter.
