How the Liberal-minded Became Bigot

Miss California Carrie Prejean lost her crown after she answered one of the most controversial issues: Should gay marriage be legalized in every state?

Perez Hilton, the judge who asked this question, gave the beauty queen a zero for answering that “marriage should be between a man and a woman.”  The judge did not stop there, he posted a blog and called Prejean the “B” word.

While same-sex marriage is a liberal and modern idea, Hilton seems to be too harsh against Prejean to the extent that it looks like he is the one who is bigot, and not the beauty queen who (in my opinion) is a moderate conservative.

If Hilton did want to hear a different opinion from his, he should have asked Prejean to say the words he wanted to hear.
