Hillary Clinton Upset by the African Student’s Question
During a press conference in Congo, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton suddenly lost her cool when a student, through an interpreter, asked about her husband’s opinion on foreign policy.
The interpreter asked Clinton if “What does Mr. Clinton think through the mouth of Mrs. Clinton?” However, it was later found out that he had mistakenly translated the question of the student since it should have been the opinion of President Barack Obama, not Clinton’s husband.
Clinton answered back by saying that she “is the secretary of state and not her husband” former US President Bill Clinton who is still enjoying political influence following his successful negotiation with North Korean officials who agreed to release the two American journalists.
According to some political analysts, Clinton is pushed on the side by the administration, making her defensive to such questions.
