Exploding iPhones

Some media reported that several iPhones sold in some parts of Europe suddenly exploded.  When asked for comments, Apple Inc. did not deny such incidents but said these are just isolated cases.

One case of an exploding iPhone involved a French teenager who was said to be injured when glass fragments went to his eyes after his girlfriend’s phone suddenly exploded in front of his face.

According to Apple spokesperson, the company is now investigating such incidents to prove if the claims are true and the possible cause of explosion.  However, the technology giant reiterated that such reported incidents are isolated cases.
