Chris Brown’s Public Apology
Popular R&B singer Chris Brown has made a public apology to his fans on Monday for beating his then-girlfriend Rihanna. In a two-minute Youtube entry, the singer said he wants to live his life as a role model and needs help.
In the video, Brown said he is sad and deeply ashamed of the “incident” (this is his term for the beating) and assured his fans that he apologized several times to Rihanna.
According to reports, after the beating incident has been exposed, the singer lost major endorsement deals with several companies and many celebrities criticized him for his violence against his ex girlfriend.
In February, Brown was arrested hours after he assaulted Rihanna during a fight when she has reportedly confronted him about another girl.
