7-year-old Boy Drives Car to Avoid Going to Church

A 7-year-old boy made a headline when he drove his family’s car to avoid going to church.  When the police car chased him, the officers admitted they were impressed with the young boy’s driving skill.

According to reports, the boy said he learned to drive by simply watching his mother and sister every time they traveled.

On early Sunday morning, police officers in Plain city, Utah received a report that a child was driving recklessly as he ignored several stop signs and was over-speeding.

Two deputies chased the boy but failed to stop him.  However, the car chase ended when the child stopped in front of his family’s driveway and ran into the house, screaming “Dad, the cops are outside”, before hiding in the basement.
