Woman Becomes YouTube Sensation

What you see is not what you always get.  There are times when people are making quick and unfair judgment based on their prejudices and pre-conceived ideas against other individuals.

In this video clip from “Britain’s Got Talent” which is a talent show, a not-so-attractive woman came to the stage and announced in front of the audience that she wants to become a professional singer.  After saying this, many people laughed while some made face, probably thinking that the woman will just end up embarrassing herself.

While most people and even the panel of judges thought that she will have a terrible performance, Susan Boyle, 47, sang “I Dreamed A Dream” from “Les Miserables” in a voice which sounded like it was coming from an angel.

After her performance, she received standing ovation.  Some people were even left teary-eyed.
