As Judge Marsha Reve handed down her ruling, actress Lindsay Lohan broke down in tears as she was sentenced with 90 days in jail time after violating her probation in 2007 over her drug case and failing to attend the court-ordered rehabilitation classes for alcoholism.

During the hearing held in Beverly Hills, California, Lohan said that she failed to attend the alcohol education classes because she was working, denying rumors that she was “going in a vacation and “going to places to have fun.”

Meanwhile, some people lauded the judge’s ruling even if Lohan is a celebrity.

Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston’s Wedding

Category: News, Politics on July 21st, 2010 |  No Comments »

Few days after Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston announced their wedding, former Alaska governor Sarah Palin said she will boycott her daughter’s marriage ceremony.  As we can remember, Levi and Sarah made some derogatory remarks against each other as soon as the former broke up with Bristol.

However, some people have speculated that this is another stunt for Sarah who lost the 2008 election for the vice president position.  Some bloggers even said that the former beauty queen-turned-politician has a plan to run for a national position.

While the wedding may sound like a happy ending for some, it is hard to forget the “word war” between Sarah and Levi.  It would also be hard to forget Levi’s decision to pose for PlayGirl magazine.

Why Ballet is not for Gay Men

Category: Hilarious, TV Commercials on July 12th, 2010 |  No Comments »

There is a wrong notion that ballet is for gay men despite that fact that joining in this classical dance will allow men to have a chance to be with girls without making it appear too obvious and trying hard.

In this television commercial, a man was taking his ballet lesson and was taking advantage of the fact that he was the only man in the class, allowing him to have a “contact” with so many girls without them thinking that he was taking an advantage.

Before the commercial has ended, the guy’s friends, who were all standing outside the ballet room, were amazed by his ingenuous plan.

Venus Williams has recently worn a risqué outfit during the French Open, capturing the attention of the crowd including photographers.

The tennis star player wore a black corset that almost resembles a costume worn by dancers from the nearby Moulin Rouge cabaret that was accompanied by a tight, skin-colored knickers.

During an interview with reporters, Williams joked that her “behind” is very well developed that makes it appear more obvious with her sports clothing.

Meanwhile, Williams won over Spain’s Arantxa Parra Santonja with a 6-2 6-4 second-round score.

While the French Open does not have any strict clothing standard, Wimbledon, which is due next month, has a strict all-white dress code.

A man has crossed a channel from Ashford in Kent, England to a French field outside Dunkirk through a cluster of balloons, almost mimicking the scene from the Disney Pixar movie “Up”.  According to reports, American daredevil Jonathan Trappe made a record-breaking flight by crossing the channel through a wicker basket attached to 55 helium-filled balloons.

In a television interview, Trappe said that his 100-kilometer journey is “immensely iconic and beautiful” and a “peaceful experience” especially when he saw the white cliffs of Dover.

The daredevil said that there is some danger associated with his attempt but has reduced it after studying all the possible problems that may come up.

Trapped cut some of the balloons free and safely landed in a cabbage field off the northern France.

A woman who was left alone inside an airplane after falling asleep is now suing the United Airlines with false imprisonment, negligence, and infliction of emotional distress.  However, the last accusation seems absurd since how can someone feel emotional distress when he or she is in deep slumber.

According to reports, Ginger McGuire, 36, fell asleep during her flight from Washington to Philadelphia and failed to wake up when her plane has landed at 12.am local time, trapping her inside for a couple of hours.

Meanwhile, the cleaning crew woke McGuire during her slumber.  However, she was locked inside the plane until federal officials were convinced that she was not a terrorist.

When asked about the comment, United Airlines spokeswoman Sarah Massier said they are investigating the incident.

One of the funniest clips shows Jane Skinner who had a slipped up, saying “top cock” twice instead of saying “top cop”.  Meanwhile, one of her co-anchors congratulated her on air saying that she was now “officially part of YouTube” for her boob-tube moment.

Another funny part is when a weatherman started freaking out live on air because of a cockroach that was crawling on the floor.

Anyway, enjoy watching this video clip.
